Your Safety
With years of experience and an unrivalled customer service record, The Cosmetic Room is a safe, professional company that you can trust.
The team at The Cosmetic Room feel very strongly about safety and proper regulation in the cosmetics industry. Clinical and Managing Director Nazia Hussain was one of few advanced practitioners chosen by Health Education England to be part of the Expert Reference Group reviewing the qualifications and training required for prescribing non-surgical cosmetic interventions. Your safety is something we all take very seriously.
The Cosmetic Room uses only the highest quality, cutting edge technology and innovative products and treatments. We invest in regulated and specialist technical equipment to deliver safe, achievable results for you.
All of the treatments that we offer are compliant with all industry-standard safety regulations, and we have established best practice in proper hygiene and maintenance procedures, including a traceable service history.
The products we use are purchased solely from reputable pharmacies and other licensed regulated companies, so you can be assured that our products are genuine and of high quality. We are concerned by the increasing number of counterfeit products available online, and we advise our clients to not be tempted by low prices and ‘quick fix’ treatment routes. They are not genuine products and often contain harmful substances that can cause serious problems if injected or applied externally.
Every member of our team is fully qualified, extensively trained with up to date knowledge, and experienced in their area of expertise. Our practitioners offer a discreet, welcoming and reassuring service that is tailored to your individual needs in our state of the art private treatment rooms.
All courses of treatment begin with an initial in-depth consultation during which your specialist will listen to your worries, undertake a meticulous assessment of your circumstances, describe the different treatment possibilities offered and, finally, recommend the most appropriate treatment programme for you to follow. The consultation will last for approximately thirty minutes. Following the consultation (and possible patch test), you will be able to begin your course of prescribed treatments.
We are incredibly proud to make our treatments accessible for all of our valued clients, however this does not mean that we ever compromise on safety. At all times we place great importance on our safety and care protocols. Practitioners will also advise on any required aftercare treatment and can recommend suitable products for use at home.
Here is some advice on helping chose the best practitioner for you.
- They should be an independent prescriber trained in dermatology and aesthetic medicine – this is a minimum requirement in our opinion.
- They must undertake regular training and CPD to keep their knowledge and techniques up to date.
- They must have a good eye for aesthetics, be a steady, gentle injector and have a pleasant, understanding nature.
